Some websites – Reddit, Wikipedia or The Drudge Report for example – have tons of links. Spend five minutes on such a site and you will end up opening a dozens different tabs in your browser.

Nifty Split offers an elegant solution here. While you are on a website, right click any link and choose “Open in Nifty Split Window.” This will open the link in a new Chrome window and both the Chrome windows will be arranged side by side.

Now any link that you click in the left window will automatically open in the right window. You neither have to open any new tabs nor is there a need to use the Back button.

Simply close one of the two windows to end your NiftySplit session.
