Made it to Twitter Trends (India)

I launched Magic Autofill today, a simple tool that helps you auto-fill IRCTC forms with a click and thus increasing your chances of getting a train ticket.

The immediate reaction was extremely positive and because of the tweets and retweets, the IRCTC tool made it to the Twitter Trends chart of India. My five minutes of fame :)

Twitter’s Who To Follow List

I was looking into my “Who to Follow” list on Twitter and one of the suggestions was Marc Orchant – he was a dear friend, a prolific tech blogger and former columnist at ZDNet.

Marc wrote his last Twitter update in December 2007 and, unfortunately, he passed away few days later (see Ed Bott’s blog).

Should Twitter have him in the “Who to Follow” list? I don’t know but you know still feel his presence in the virtual world.

Sachin Tendulkar’s Mobile Phone?

Can you guess the brand and model of Sachin Tendulkar’s current mobile phone? iPhone, BlackBerry, Nokia or something else?

Sachin Tendulkar

I don’t know the answer but a recent picture that the God of Indian Cricket shared on Twitter does offer a strong hint.

I was looking at the EXIF data of Sachin’s picture on Twitter and it revealed that the image was captured using a BlackBerry 9981.

A quick Google Search suggests the BlackBerry P9981 is from Porsche Design and Research In Motion and the phone costs around $2,200 on Amazon.com. Here’s a video tour of the BlackBerry P9981 via T3.

Shooting an iPad with a Gun

Some people like to blend stuff, others like shoot stuff with guns. This guy decided to pump a few bullets into his brand new iPad (or the iPad 3).
