Backup your Digital Photos to an Off-site Location

The digital photos lying on your computer are priceless. Yet there’s a risk that you might lose them all one day due to a hard-drive failure or a nasty virus attack.
It’s therefore important that we have proper "offsite" backup of all our photos so that the memories remain preserved no matter what happens to our computer. Here are some good online services that you may use to backup your digital pictures forever.
Windows Live SkyDrive – They provide 25 GB of free storage space and you can easily upload picture libraries from your desktop to Windows Live SkyDrive using the free Windows Live Photo Gallery client though it’s only available for Windows.
Flickr Pro - It costs around $25 per year but you can store unlimited number of pictures here and you also get to participate in the very-active Flickr community of photo enthusiasts.
Picasa Web Albums – They offer 1 GB storage space for free but you can buy an extra 20 GB (up to a terabyte) by paying $5 per year.
