Your Windows 7 DVD Might Have Firefox & Chrome as Well

Microsoft, which has already paid more $2 billion in fine to the European Union, is in for another surprise.

The EU regulators are planning to ask Microsoft to bundle other non-IE web browsers into Windows so that users can choose their default browser at the time of installation itself.

And that’s not all. Some regulators also want Microsoft to offer other alternate web browsers like Chrome, Firefox, etc. to existing Windows users via the Automatic Update service.

That’s like asking Google to include links to Yahoo and Bing on their home page.
