Hi!

I currently live in US and own an iphone.. i am planning to shift back to India… what plan would be best for me to use? the one i use currently? or should i just go for a completely new plan in India?

Please reply soon as i am travelling in few days.

You have two options:

1. You can either carry your AT&T powered iPhone to India and pay the roaming charges (am assuming your phone is locked).

2. Or, if you are planning to stay a little longer in India, you can buy a new plan from any India cellular operator (eg. Airtel, Vodafone, etc) and use it with any GSM phone.

You can’t buy an iPhone plan in India to work with your US iPhone since all iPhones sold here through the official channel are locked.
